Gabriel Gustafsson (he/him) is an interdisciplinary sound artist, sound designer, and music technology enthusiast currently based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He creates a hybrid of new music aesthetics and synthesis-fusing electronic sounds. Through long-form electroacoustic pieces and ambient experimental productions, his exercises in music production is tied from a considerable academic background and a self-driven study in electroacoustic compositions.

In 2020, after graduating from the Electroacoustic Studies program with a minor in Mandarin, Language, & Culture (Concordia University, Montréal/Tiohtia:ke), Gabriel redirected his focus towards music technology. Subsequently, he pursued advanced studies at Aalborg University (in Copenhagen), where he is currently in the final semester of the Sound & Music Computing master's program.

These learnings, put into perspective by the latest technological advancements in both hardware and software, allowed Gabriel to discover and expand upon newfound possibilities of enhanced sonic experiences. During the three years of his bachelor studies, not only did he develop a strong predictive knowledge in regards to sound synthesis, but also the ability to faithfully adapt at electroacoustic music to each new wave of technology. These experiences were formative and enabled him to deepen his understanding of these two realms. Indeed, throughout his degree, Gabriel progressively became inclined to program real-time computer music operations with particular functionalities, and develop a higher interest in digital signal processing.
